Privacy Policy

Napless is a Mac app and this website, napless.io. This policy covers both.

The Napless app

No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no account. The app doesn’t collect or send usage data.
Your settings stay on your Mac. Triggers, watches, durations and history are stored locally.
Update check. The app checks https://napless.io/appcast.xml for new versions using Sparkle. That request includes the app version and the macOS version. Like any web request, it also reveals your IP address to our server, which keeps standard access logs.
Optional permissions. Location is used only to read the current Wi-Fi name for the Wi-Fi condition. Accessibility is used only by Keep Chat Apps Active to move the pointer by one pixel. Neither leaves your Mac.
Napless Pro (when it launches). Buying and activating a license goes through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which processes your email and payment details under its own privacy policy. Activation sends the license key and a device instance name to Lemon Squeezy.

Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages help people. They set cookies and record page views, clicks and scrolling, and Clarity may record anonymized session replays. You can block them with any content blocker; the site keeps working.
Download counter. When you download Napless, our server records the version, the referring page, campaign tags in the link, your country if our network provider supplies it, and your browser’s user agent. We don’t store your IP address in that record.
Pro waitlist. If you ask to be notified, we store your email address, the page you signed up on and any campaign tags. We use it to send one email when Napless Pro launches, and we don’t sell or share it. To be removed, email support@napless.io.
Server logs. Like most websites, our server keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, time, page) for security and troubleshooting.
